When Jack Dorsey had created Twitter, he could have never thought it would become so popular! And he could have definitely not thought of the fact that it would be used as a platform by celebrities for coming out of the closet! This is exactly what Raven Symone (wearing spectacles), child star of the hit Disney show “That’s so Raven” did in the month of August. She chose the micro-blogging site for coming out with the news that she is a lesbian. Her happy tweet about government legalizing gay marriages had more than just a hint of her sexual orientation. With this one tweet, she answered the question” is Raven Symone Gay” in more than one ways possible.
However, some people didn’t take kindly to Raven Symone coming out via Twitter. Many of them lashed out at her saying that she has “ruined their childhood” and that the whole impact of “That’s so Raven”! This kind of backlash has certainly surprised many users who belong to this “more open generation”. Prior to her revealing tweet, there have been endless speculations about Raven’s sexuality and whether she was one of the those famous gay celebrities! Now that she has put an end to all speculations, people don’t like it!
